Located in the heart of Place Edmund-Horne, Espace Boréal is a one-of-a-kind immersive scenographic structure designed to transform the experience of cultural and artistic events in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Originally conceived for the Osisko en lumière Westwood Festival, this modular and demountable space combines 180-degree scenography, special effects, visual projections, and an enveloping soundscape, creating a spectacular setting for performances with a high visual and sensory impact.

A Catalyst for Local Events

Initially developed as part of the festival, the structure quickly established itself as a catalyst for cultural initiatives throughout the region. It has been used to enhance other projects and events, becoming a true draw for Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Its versatility allows it to accommodate small- to medium-scale projects, from large-scale shows to more intimate creative productions.

Phase 3: The Addition of the Desjardins Stage
 

In 2025, Espace Boréal entered a new phase with the addition of the Desjardins Stage, a fully equipped outdoor stage that further strengthens its artistic offering and makes it possible to host even more ambitious performances. This third phase marks a pivotal moment in the development of Espace Boréal as a state-of-the-art cultural infrastructure.
